Blondies:

  • 1 cup diced fresh strawberries

Glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar, sifted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F. Line a 9-inch square baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Cream the butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in the egg and then the lemon juice.
  3. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Add to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
  4. Fold in the diced strawberries. Spread the mixture in the pan evenly.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes until edges are golden and center is set.
  6. Prepare the glaze by combining powdered sugar, strawberry puree, and lemon juice.
  7. Spread the glaze over the cooled blondies. Let it set before slicing.
