Ridiculously Easy Almond Croissants Recipe

Croissants:
- 4 store-bought croissants (day-old preferred)
Almond Filling:
- ½ cup almond flour
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
- 1 egg
- ½ tsp almond extract
- 2 tbsp milk (for brushing)
- 2 tbsp sliced almonds
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
- Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice croissants: Slice croissants in half horizontally.
- Make almond filling: In a bowl, beat butter and sugar until smooth. Add egg, almond flour, and almond extract. Mix into a thick paste.
- Fill croissants: Spread almond filling inside each croissant and sandwich back.
- Brush and top: Brush tops with milk, spread more filling on top, and sprinkle with sliced almonds.
- Bake: Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden.
- Dust and serve: Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
