Shrimp:
- 1 lb (450g) large raw shrimp, peeled and deveined, tails on or off
Garlic Butter Sauce:
- 4 tablespoons (60g) unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
Breadcrumb Topping:
- 1/2 cup (60g) panko breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup (25g) grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for extra flavor)
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- Zest of 1 lemon (optional, for extra brightness)
- Olive oil spray or drizzle, optional for browning
- Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a shallow baking dish or use a glass 8×8″ dish.
- Prepare Shrimp: Arrange shrimp in a single layer in the baking dish.
- Mix Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
- Coat Shrimp: Pour the garlic butter mixture evenly over the shrimp.
- Prepare Breadcrumb Topping: In another bowl, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan (if using), and lemon zest.
- Add Topping: Sprinkle breadcrumb mixture evenly over the shrimp.

Notes
- Use raw shrimp, not pre-cooked, or it will overcook and become rubbery.
- For extra golden topping, switch to broil for the last 1–2 minutes—watch closely!
- Add a dash of crushed red pepper flakes if you like heat.
