Lemon Pretzel Dessert is a zesty, creamy, sweet and salty dessert that is super easy to make. Perfect for summertime get-togethers and will be requested over and over.

Pretzel Crust:

  • 2½ cups pretzels, crushed
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • ⅔ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • ½ cup butter, melted

Cream Layer:

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 8 ounces cool whip

Lemon Topping:

  • 22 ounces lemon pie filling

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°.

    Crush pretzels into small pieces using a food processor.

  2. Prepare Pretzel Crust:

    In a medium bowl, add pretzels, vanilla, brown sugar, and flour. Stir until combined. Melt butter, add to pretzel mixture, and stir until combined. Spread mixture into a 9×13 baking dish, reserving ½ cup for topping. Press into an even, smooth layer. Bake for 10 minutes, then cool completely.

  3. Prepare Cream Layer:

    In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar, beat until combined. Add cool whip, mix until just combined. Spread cream cheese mixture over cooled pretzel layer.

  4. Assemble Dessert:

    Top with lemon pie filling, spread evenly. Sprinkle reserved pretzel mixture over the top.

  5. Chill:

    Cover and refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.
